The Regional Transit System bus service is owned and operated by the City of Gainesville, and UF contracts with RTS to provide fare-free transportation for students, faculty and staff with a valid Gator 1 ID.

RTS Service Updates For Spring Commencement Friday, May 3 and UF Break Week May 6-10
Spring Commencement Service Changes – Friday, May 3
- All campus service on routes 118, 122, 125 and 127 will end at 4:30 PM and route 126 will not operate.
- Additionally, routes 9, 28, 34 and 38 will be detoured around the stadium area beginning at 4:30 PM.
UF Break Week Service Changes – May 6-10
- Campus routes 118, 122, 125, 126 and 127 and city routes 21, 28, 38 and 46 will not operate for this week.
- Routes 9, 12, 17, 25, 33, 34, 37 and 150 will operate with reduced service for this week.
- To determine reduced service schedules, visit www.go-rts.com and choose your route from the Schedules link in the top menu. Each scheduled arrival time in the timetable with an “R” listed next to it indicates the times where the route will continue to operate during periods of reduced service.
Route 150 Service Changes Begin Monday, May 6
Please be aware that service for RTS Route 150 will change as shown below beginning Monday, May 6 with the Spring-Summer semester break week:
- No service will be provided from 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM daily
- Service will be provided every half hour from 6:30 – 9:30 AM and 3:30 – 6:30 PM, Monday – Friday during weeks when UF classes are in session
- Service will be provided every hour from 6:30 – 9:30 AM and 3:30 – 6:30 PM, Monday – Friday during UF break weeks
- No service will be provided on UF holidays
Additional information regarding this service change:
- We consistently monitor all bus routes to ensure we are providing the best service for our ridership with available resources. In reviewing this route, we determined that removing the off-peak mid-day service would allow us to continue providing peak morning and afternoon service for Route 150 over the summer semester and beyond.
- The changes being implemented during UF holidays and break weeks were made to bring this route in alignment with all other UF bus routes.
- TAPS will continue to evaluate all routes and make modifications as needed.
