FIRST LEVEL CITATION APPEAL

Parking citations may be appealed online from any computer, or in person using the self-service computers at the TAPS Customer Relations Office, 1273 Gale Lemerand Drive (located just north of Mowry Road at the front of Parking Garage 13), Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Appeals must be filed within 15 calendar days of the citation’s issuance. Appeals filed more than 15 days after the citation’s issuance will not be accepted, and the citation will be considered delinquent.

SECOND LEVEL CITATION APPEAL

If the initial ruling regarding the appeal is unacceptable to the appellant, a second level appeal may be requested before a University Hearing Authority. The Statement of Appeal to a University Hearing Authority must be filed with Transportation and Parking Services in writing either at our office or online within 15 calendar days from the issuance of the decision regarding the initial appeal. In order to request a second level appeal, the citation(s) must be paid in full before the request is filed.

SUSPENDED PARKING PRIVILEGES APPEAL

All persons whose privilege to park on the University of Florida campus has been suspended have the right to appeal this suspension to restore that privilege. A successful appeal is the only way to restore this privilege before the next enforcement cycle.

IMPOUND (BOOT/TOW) APPEAL

A person whose vehicle has been impounded shall have the right to a Probable Cause Hearing. The purpose of the hearing is to determine if the vehicle was impounded according to University of Florida regulations.
