Spring 2026 Transit Changes
The University of Florida and the City of Gainesville continuously review routes and ridership for the UF-funded portion of the RTS transit system to ensure it operates as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Based on our analysis of Fall 2025 service, we are making several changes to UF-funded routes as shown in the information below in order to provide better overall service and address specific student concerns.
All route changes reflect not only our ongoing review, but also input from the campus community. Our goal is to ensure that student transportation fees, which support RTS along with many other transit services, are used responsibly and provide maximum value to UF students.
This section contains information for those routes which will change for Spring 2026.
